Agile Office Space Followup

Thanks to Skip Angel (@skipangel) for facilitating an excellent session at the Seattle Scrum Gathering on Collaboration Workspaces.  For those that are interested in more information, my deck on Agile Office Space is available here. I also have some supporting images available here.

Also see Agile Office Space and Agile Office Space – Isolation versus Distraction for my previous blog entries on this topic.

I will be presenting on Agile Office Spaces at the the July NOVA/DC Scrum User Group meeting and at Agile 2011 conference in August.  Those sessions will be a highly re-factored workshop based on my original presentation.

On a side note, I am way overdue on my Agile Coaching Part 2 blog entry.  Coming soon (hopefully).

  3. I`m interested This
    Agile Artical.

I totally get where you are coming from.
For me, the goal of the startup is to create something of value as quickly as possible and
with minimal cost / waste. In pursuit of this, visualization gives a startup team clarity and immediate direction. Options are made apparent and acted upon with maximum buy-in.

In a startup, the kanban can be the focal point to allow rapid ideation, prototyping and
release. It can also be used to experiment, kill bad ideas, and evolve rapidly.

  5. Serviced Offices in Makati, Metro-Manila

Serviced Offices are convenient, cost-effective options for start-up companies and BPOs doing business in the Philippines. These serviced offices are fully-furnished, and equipped according to client requirements. Serviced Offices are often referred to as plug and play, managed offices, business centers, or executive centers, and are usually located within Central Business Districts (CBDs) like Makati City, Philippines. Cost-efficient and easily accessible, serviced offices are managed by a facility management company, who also rents out individual desks, offices, or floors to other companies. These serviced offices are fully-equipped with high-speed internet, computers, telephone lines, and other necessities. Some features include:

  10. New construction? In my old office we even had an agent who specialized in homes that were wheel chair accessible. He had worked with disabled youth before, and had good community contacts. If a home was listed with a wheel chair ramp, every agent made sure he knew about it, as he was probably going to bring the buyer. Thanks a lot.

  11. I’ve worked in nearly every conceivable office environment over my working career. I’ve had a number of private offices, massive open plan call centre style environments and I’ve also worked in the stereo typical startup garage. Thanks.
